Just a quick update. We have been evacuated for yet another fire. As of right now, the fire is burning to the west, east, and north of our home and heading southeast. It has burned homes on the top of our road, but I do not believe it has come down far enough to reach our home. We will let you know as we have more information. Pray for us as we had to evacuate quickly and leave basically everything behind.

I heard about it on the radio and was thinking about you guys. I'm glad you're safe!
Oh my gosh, Chris just forwarded me an e-mail about the fire and it had the link to your blog. First of all we are praying for you, I can't believe how close the fire is. And second of all I'm so glad you have a blog...it is so fun to see how your family is doing (even though the circumstances aren't the best.) Anyways we love you guys and we will be hoping to hear good news!
These fires are crazy! Monte's brother is down there fighting it right now. Again, we are here if you need anything. We will pray for your home. Keep updating through the blog and please don't hesitate if you need a place to stay or anything.
